“The Black Mamba” made a bold and inspiring proclamation when he said that a select number of WNBA players could hack it in the shark-infested waters of the NBA. The Houdini agrees and thinks these three women could help the Boston Celtics in 2019-20.

When Kobe Bryant speaks (put away your bias Boston Celtics fans), all ears connected to a head that enjoys the NBA should listen.

If the “Black Mamba” believes that certain women could make it in the NBA, I am not going to disagree and neither should you. You don’t have to agree with his approach to the game or how he treated his teammates. Bryant was a compulsive winner who took things too far.

Just ask Nick Young.

Regardless of what you feel about Bryant’s storied past, you should agree with what he says when it comes to the game of basketball.

The latest piece of “Mamba Mentality” was revealed in an interview with CNN:

"“I think there are a couple of players who could play in the NBA right now honestly,” the Los Angeles Lakers legend said in an interview with CNN’s Calum Trenaman. “There’s a lot of players with a lot of skill that could do it.”"

Bryant didn’t say this to a reporter with a recorder among a scrum of newscasters at a camp. He said this to one of the biggest news conglomerates in the world.
