In what is bound to be an instant classic, the Boston Celtics outlasted the Toronto Raptors to grab their 26th victory of the season. The Celtics utilized a complete team effort to pull off the victory, but three stars stood just a bit higher than the rest.

In a battle of goliaths, Kyrie Irving and Kawhi Leonard did not disappoint, going toe to toe in the final minutes of regulation of tonight’s contest between the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors. Uncle Drew would ultimately put the game to rest with several highlight-reel buckets, and a pretty alley-oop dunk to cap the match off.

As much as tonight showed Kyrie’s value to the Celtics, this game was won with an all-around team effort on both sides of the ball. A sluggish start put Boston behind early on, but a 34 point 2nd quarter gave the group an 11 point lead at the half. A back and forth 2nd half would follow, with Irving and the boys in green pulling away in the final 2 minutes.

A group effort like this makes it tough to nail down just 3 stars of the game, but let’s go ahead and give it a go, shall we?

A quick brush up on how this works.

1 Star – The individual that takes home the 1-star award shall be considered the third most impressive player on the court for the Celtics. The unsung hero of the contest, if you will.

2 Stars – Think of the 2-star award winner like the superhero’s sidekick. Not quite Batman, but let’s be real what would Batman be without his Robin, am I right?

3 Stars – The best of the best. The 3-star champion of the night shines brighter than all others and stands alone as the indisputable hero, even in defeat.

Without further ado, your 3 stars of the night.
