5) The Washington Wizards are still delusional

Year after year, the John Wall led Washington Wizards underachieve. And, year after year, the Washington Wizards claim they were better than a team that beat them, or won more games than them.

It appears that the annual ritual continued this year at the Washington Wizards Media Day, as Marcus Morris’ twin brother, Markieff Morris, brought the bravado:

Dude, you guys were 43-39 last season, barely snuck into the playoffs, then lost, 4-2, to the Toronto Raptors–another team you claim to be better than– in the first round. When is it time to just shut your mouth and play basketball?

Hopefully, Marcus Morris can set his brother straight, and the rest of the Wizards remain silent. The biggest hallmark for the Wizards team under Wall’s leadership has been under-performing to their talent level, showing their opponents minimal respect, and lazy, undisciplined play.

Perhaps, instead of talking junk about the Boston Celtics or Toronto Raptors, the Washington Wizards might want to learn a thing or two from them.
