Landry Shamet – Soph. – G – Wichita State

Speaking of Wichita, Shamet is another guard who offers a desired skill for the Celtics. While not as versatile as Milton, Shamet is one of the best shooters in the country, banging home 45 percent of his threes while attempting nearly 6 a game. Shamet leads the Shockers in scoring and his 5.2 assists per game lead the American Athletic Conference.

Defensively, Shamet has some question marks, and it is unclear if he has the agility to guard opposing point guards (see Shake Milton lighting him up for 33 points). However, his movement without the ball and his ability to spot-up as a shooter are NBA ready, and on a playoff team like the Celtics, he could provide a spark off the bench as a young player.
