The Boston Celtics have played just under half of their games, so here are the mid season awards

The Boston Celtics are currently 27-10 and sit in second place in the Eastern Conference. That’s 45% of their season already under their belt. If most fans had been told at halftime of opening night that the Celtics would be 17 games over .500 on December 27th, I think they’d be thrilled.

Boston has lost five out of their last ten games after losing five in their first 27. Much of this is thanks to their brutal schedule as of late. The Celtics have 17 December games, which includes the recent stretch of 8 games in 12 days with three back-to-backs. Not many teams can go through that patch without facing a little adversity.

Instead of picking apart what’s been going wrong with the Celtics, let’s take a look back at who’s helped the C’s impress to this point in the season.
