Terry Rozier

Deeper down the bench is reserve guard Terry Rozier. Rozier elevated his game in the 2017 playoffs, but has gotten spotty minutes over the first two years of his career.

His playoff performance could be a sign of things to come. At 12.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists, his per 36 minute averages in the playoffs were impressive.

Last year, Stevens used extreme small-ball lineups consisting of Rozier, Thomas, Bradley and Smart in short stints. Something along those lines could certainly work this year as well.

A lineup with Rozier, Irving, Smart and Brown will more than likely see the floor at some point this season. Don’t expect it too often, but in short bursts Rozier could definitely find himself on the court in key situations late in games.
