The Boston Celtics have their big three, but there are plenty of options to close games with them

The Boston Celtics are officially back. Media day was on Monday, then came three days of training camp and the first preseason game is Monday, Oct. 2 vs. Charlotte.

Many questions still loom regarding the Celtics starting lineup with just under three weeks until the season begins. But the bigger, and more important, question, perhaps, is the Celtics closing lineup.

Three of the five spots are virtually guaranteed. Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward and Al Horford will be on the court. But who will join them?

Well, anything is possible with Brad Stevens. The likely candidates, though, include Marcus Smart, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Morris, Jayson Tatum, Terry Rozier or Aron Baynes.
