Hardwood Houdini’s Celtics NBA Draft Big Board

The Celtics ended up winning the 2017 NBA Draft Lottery on Tuesday night, and will own the rights to the first pick in this June’s draft. This is a great development for the franchise, as it can compete in the eastern conference finals against the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers, and build their team with the draft.

This is a ranking of the top 30 players that the Celtics would take when on the clock. Since they have the first pick in the draft, they can take the top player on their board if they decide to use the pick. As the draft goes on and players are taken, the Celtics will still have a list to pick from when they select a player in the second round.

This was a collaborative effort by Hardwood Houdini’s Michael DePrisco, Joshua Bateman, and Alex Eddy.

Next: Now the Celtics' Future is Much Clearer

Let us know what you think of these rankings, and what you think the Celtics should do once they are on the clock. I think that it would be a good idea to package the second round picks to move back into the first round to acquire a shooter or rebounder to help the depth of the team. What do you think?
