Grading Danny Ainge’s Trades So Far

We all know my opinion right now of Danny Ainge, it is not a good one. You can look at his recent moves in one of two ways: first, he has cleared up CAP room, stocked up on draft picks, has obtained expiring contracts, and plans on using all these assets in the 2015 offseason. Or second, he has traded all our all-star talent, stockpiled overpaid veterans, and has no plan other than to get really lucky in the draft or hope that a BIG THREE type trade falls into his lap.
But, I am willing to give him until the start of next season to see what his plan is(if he has one). Will he be able to make the proper moves to get us back to relevancy? Or has he made the rebuild process even harder by digging a deeper whole? Let’s examine his moves to see what may or may not be helping our Boston Celtics –
I have not been the biggest fan of Danny Ainge so far this season, but I really hope there is a method to all this madness. If Danny Ainge can miraculously turn our team around this offseason, then I will take everything back. But I find it tough to believe that the guy who traded the Big Three and Rajon Rondo for some conditional picks and role players , is going to have the same success he had back in the 2007 offseason this upcoming offseason. We will see…
