Last night at 11pm we aired our third episode of the Celtics Late Night Show. Out of the three shows we have recorded so far it was by far the best. I encourage all of you to listen to the show whenever you have the time. The show is available on iTunes, which allows you to download the show onto your iPod and listen whenever you may like. For now we will give you a quick preview about what we talked about on the show.

Introduction: Nick wishes everyone a Happy New Year and informs us his New Years resolution is NOT to quit drinking alcohol.

1:30 Brandon talks about his experiences at two Maine Red Claws games over the weekend. We compare the Red Claws to the Celtics and then discuss whether this may, or may not, be because of a carry over from Danny Ainge to his son, and current Red Claws head coach, Austin Ainge. Brandon also goes on to talk about Red Claws big man, Alexis Ajinca, and the crowd at the Portland Expo.

5:15 We begin talks about the Celtics rough end to 2009. Travis talks about whether Rondo is trying to do to much scoring wise and goes on to talk about the game in Phoenix.

8:40: We get our first ever prank caller, Bob from Jersey. Bob is a New York Knicks fan so we can only wonder how dissapointing these past few years have been for poor Bob. He pretends to be a Celtics fan and then goes on to bash Doc Rivers, then follows up by going on an outrage at Celtics fans.

11:00 We discuss the lack of Celtics pride in last weeks games. We all agree that the Celtics rolled over in the game against Phoenix and showed no sign of Celtics pride.

12:30 We then talk about the adversity the Celtics overcame to get a huge win in Toronto and the way the young guys stepped it up to help the C’s seal a victory.

16:45 Our good twitter friend KWAPT calls in to give his take on a few issues. He starts off with a couple disses towards Knicks fans. We then talk about Tony Allen’s, Lester Hudson’s, J.R Gidden’s, Glen “Big Baby” Davis’ and Eddie House’s recent performances. Brandon then goes on to ask KWAPT about his take on the recent Gilbert Arenas gun problems. He then wraps it up by talking about Brandon Jennings take on the best point guard that he has had to guard.

29:35 Our special guest John Karalis from Red’s Army joins us to talk about his concerns with the Celtics recent injury problems. We get his take on whether or not he thinks we are hearing the truth about Kevin Garnett. We then move on to talk about Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo’s return, and the performance of Rasheed Wallace in KG’s absence. We wrap up a great segment with John by asking him IF there was only one player he could have healthy who would it be. Tune into the show to hear John’s answer to this question and much much more.

54:40 After we wrap it up with John, Alex from NBA Tipoff gives his first ever segment of “Around The Hardwood”. In the short segment Alex talks about Gilbert Arenas’ gun problems, Kobe’s buzzer beater, the Cavs recent winning streak, and Nate Robisons return to the court.

60:30 Brandon, Travis, and Nick start to talk about the week ahead. Travis and Brandon talk about the keys to victory, key matchups and much more. We then go on to talk about what Celtics we expect to see on the floor Wednesday night.

63:13 Mike, all the way from Australia, calls in to the show and offers his opinions on the Celtics recent struggles. Mike states how he would like to see Bill Walker get some playing time in a time like this. He believes that Walker and Hudson should be getting playing time to help limit the playing time of Rondo and Pierce down the stretch. We then ask Mike the same question we asked John, if you could have one player healthy who would it be? Travis and Mike converse about this issue, listen to the show to see what they have to say. Thanks for the call Mike and we hope to hear from you again soon.

75:20 We start to wrap up the show by looking at the week ahead. Brandon and Travis converse over what the Celtics will have to do to come out of the week with three wins. Nick then wraps up the show by wishing our buddy Bob a Happy New Year.
