The Boston Celtics, despite being 5-5 in their last 10 games, are just two game back form the Milwaukee Bucks for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Tonight, they’ll hit the road to take on the struggling Portland Trail Blazers, who need to win games in a hurry if they want to make the postseason.

If you want our best bet for the game, check out Peter Dewey’s betting preview here.

Celtics vs. Trail Blazer prop bets

  • Al Horford OVER 6.5 rebounds
  • Damian Lillard UNDER 6.5 assists

Al Horford OVER 6.5 rebounds

Al Horford should have a big game tonight on the glass. he and the Celtics will get to face-off against a Trail Blazers team that’s 25th in the NBA in rebounding percentage.

Horford is averaging 6.2 rebounds per game, so we just need him to get one more than his season average tonight for us to cash our ticket. Let’s hope he can dominate in the paint on Friday night.

Damian Lillard UNDER 6.5 assists

One of the Celtics’ biggest strengths on defense is preventing assists. In fact, they rank 23rd in the NBA in opponent assists per game. Teams are averaging only 23.0 assists per game against them.

Lillard has gone over this total with his assists in four-straight games, but there could be some regression from him in this area having to go against the Celtics stout defense, while also nursing a calf injury.

I’ll take the UNDER on his assist total tonight.
