Player #1 playing for Boston Celtics contract: Tremont Waters

Tremont Waters has had an inconsistent year, but the lack of a stable schedule of time on the hardwood has been the primary culprit. Waters has played in 20 games and Boston is 11-9 in those contests.

That’s inconclusive, especially considering that 16 of those contests were in garbage time with nine minutes or less being played on the floor. That said, Waters is a nice plug in option, starting two games this season, both being wins.

One of those was a critical one this past Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets, and in a starting role, he produced six points (on 3-7 shooting), six assists and two steals. Given his willingness to be more of a pass-first option than anyone else in the C’s current backcourt, Waters has a shot to stick next year as well.

His market should be an interesting one this summer.

Player #2 playing for Boston Celtics contract: Tacko Fall

The former UCF product has the benefit of being seven-foot-six, and given his popularity, it would be difficult to see Tacko Fall being let go…particularly because he is actually pretty productive when he is on the floor.

He grabs 2.5 rebounds in under seven minutes on the floor and makes 75% of his attempts from the field. Fall has a good chance of being Celtics green once again in 2021-22.
