Move fans want Boston Celtics to make No. 2) Bring on a veteran wing

With the loss of Gordon Hayward comes many new problems within this Boston Celtics rotation. His absence now generates a void in the wing rotation, specifically in regard to a veteran presence.

This is exactly what many fans have expressed interest in: the Cs pursuing a veteran wing this offseason.

On the open market, there are a few talents that could be had for reletively cheap. The most common names to be mentioned by fans are Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Glenn Robinson III.

While the most oft mentioned player from the two listed above is Hollis-Jefferson, it is our belief that Robinson III would be the ideal grab for the Boston Celtics.

During the 2019-20 season, the 26-year-old posted sound averages of 11.7 points and 4.4 rebounds on 49 percent shooting from the floor and 39 percent shooting from deep.

While Hollis-Jefferson would provide athleticism and stout defensive efforts off the pine, Robinson III would bring on scoring and floor spacing which, frankly, are two aspects that are sorely needed within the C’s second unit — ranked 29th in points per game (28.5), 28th in 3-point percentage (31.8), and 20th in offensive rating (53.6).
