]]> Retired three time NBA Slam Dunk Champion Nate Robinson spoke about this year’s NBA Dunk Contest prior to the Celtics game against the Bulls on Saturday night. Robinson picked Clippers sensation Blake Griffin to win it all and feels that the NBA may have stacked the deck in his favor. Said Robinson “They set it up like that. They set it up for Blake to win it like that. Everything. It’s all set up.”

Hard to argue with his point, the NBA will clearly benefit from a Griffin victory. Griffin has become a youtube sensation and a must watch on a daily basis to see what he’ll do next on the basketball court. The NBA is always looking for the next budding superstar to promote and in a league built on superstars rather than teams, it just makes sense.
