Boston Celtics mock draft 4.0

The NBA Draft is less than two weeks away and teams are starting to finalize draft workouts. The top prospects have already worked out with interested teams, however, it hasn’t gotten any clearer who will be going where outside of the top-two.

Ben Simmons is seen as the probable number one pick, followed by Brandon Ingram at number two. Although, rumors have spread that the Philadelphia 76ers might take a chance on Jamal Murray or the Los Angeles Lakers might draft Dragan Bender. While both scenarios are very unlikely, it would shake up the draft and definitely be a huge break for the Boston Celtics.

The Celtics own the third pick in the draft and are in dire need of a scorer, rim protector, and three-point specialist. Brad Stevens has come out and said that the Celtics are looking at seven or eight players with the third pick, and there’s always the chance that they trade the pick.

Nothing is off the table for the 48-win Boston Celtics as they hope to strike gold this year. For the sake of this mock draft, I will pretend that no trades will happen for the Celtics on draft night.

Next: No. 3 Jamal Murray
