Paul Pierce Bids Farewell to Boston Celtics Fans via Twitter

Paul Pierce has seen his final days as a Celtic and has taken to Twitter and Instagram to show his appreciation.

This is the first real word that we’ve gotten from Paul Pierce since the playoffs, really. And for Celtics’ fans, this is tough. For many of us, it hasn’t hit yet that he and Kevin Garnett are no longer apart of the organization. But Pierce helped smooth things over with a series tweets showing instagram pictures.

The pictures are everything from Pierce with Garnett and Ray Allen as they brought home  a championship to him standing in the middle of TD Garden with the great Red Auerbach . The pictures drew out plenty of emotion from Celtics fans via Twitter and Instagram. Here are Pierces tweets so you can see for yourself:
