6) 16 pts, 14 asts, 11 rebs — April 1st, 2012 vs Miami Heat

This was a big 19-point victory for the C’s over the Miami Heat. Chris Bosh was limited to four points and Rondo had another triple-double, as the Celtics outscored the Heat 31-12 in the third quarter. All five C’s starters scored in double figures and the game was the fifth straight victory for the Heat as they improved to 30-22 on the season following that win.

7) 18 pts, 14 asts, 11 rebs — January 1, 2012 vs Washington Wizards

”I just knew he played great. He was sensational all night. He had one of those nights – he had this last year in stretches – where he just called a good game, you know, like he’s a great catcher,” Doc Rivers said. ”He called a terrific game tonight.”

The C’s won this one 94-86 to hand the Wizards their fourth loss in four games to start the 2012-13 season.

8) 15 pts, 11 asts, 10 rebs — February 29th, 2012 vs Milwaukee Bucks

Rajon Rondo had his third triple double of the season in this game as the C’s won 102-96 to get themselves back to .500.

“It’s another game where one of the better point guards has gotten the better of us,” Bucks coach Scott Skiles said. That happened often this year and that’s not all on Brandon. It’s on our defense and it’s on the guy that’s guarding him.”

9) 20 pts, 13 asts, 7 rebs — Oct 30th, 2012 vs Miami Heat

Though the Heat lost this one on opening night, it wasn’t because Rondo didn’t play sensational. Rondo hit 9-of-14 from the floor and played 43-plus minutes in the 120-107 loss. The Heat Big Three was just too much, combining for 74 points.

10) 14 pts, 20 asts, 2 rebs — on November 9th, 2012 vs Philadelphia 76ers

The Celtics experienced frustration in this one, losing 106-100 to the Sixers, but Rondo had himself a 20 assist game. Doc Rivers expressed frustration, saying that “I thought we hung in the game, kind of fought back, but every time we needed a stop we didn’t get it.” Paul Pierce said he “understands it’s a process,” adding that the team is “still building.” Fast forward about a month and a week, and the team is still building.

Can the C’s have another amazing year under Rondo’s guidance? As you see, Rondo put in work in 2012.
