The Celtics have released their preseason schedule for the upcoming 2011-2012 season. The eight game tilt will see the C’s once again making the rounds around New England with stops in Amherst, Providence and Hartford. This is of course assuming that there will be a season played on time, if at all.  To put things into perspective, the lockout would need to be resolved sometime over the next month in order to avoid disrupting the season. NBA 2K12 is set to release their newest game on October 4th and Larry Bird has been selected (along with Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan) to appear on one of the three covers. The official artwork has been released for the popular basketball franchise:  

Celtic reserve guard Delonte West has advised his twitter followers of his plans for work whilst the NBA is in lockout mode. Said West via his official twitter page: “It’s official.. Former Celtic great Kendrick Perkins was arrested, over the weekend,  in his hometown of Beaumont, Texas charged with public drinking and disorderly conduct. Things then got a little strange as the days went on. Perkins has claimed that he was only drinking water, was not drunk, and hinted around bringing police brutality charges against the arresting officers. Perkin’s lawyer Langston Scott issued the following statement: “Mr. Perkins has maintained his innocence to the charges and is recovering at home with family suffering from injuries he received during the incident.” The real losers here are the kids that missed out on [...]

According to the upcoming book ‘Shaq Uncut’ from former Celtic Shaquille O’Neal, we can all blame Rajon Rondo’s poor shooting on president Obama. According to the excerpt obtained by CSNNE.com: “In early March some of the guys went to the museum of Fine Arts for a fund-raiser and got to hang with President Barack Obama.
