Sources out of New York have the New York Knicks on the verge of trading guard Anthony Randolph for a first round pick. Possible destinations include; Indiana, Portland and Minnesota. This move is bizarre considering the rate of return. Randolph has done basically nothing for the Knicks averaging 2 points per game and now has an opportunity to make a huge contribution by being traded for a potential lottery pick.
Anthony is young and has potential, but the Knicks, in their pursuit of Carmelo Anthony, cannot pass up an opportunity to obtain a huge chip to play for little to no cost.
