Kevin Garnett Injury Update

An MRI on KG’s leg revealed a calf injury and not a knee injury as originally feared. Hard to imagine after seeing Garnett clutch his knee in pain just before half time against the Pistons on Wednesday night. Celtic’s president of operations Danny Ainge expects KG to miss about 2 weeks and not the rest of the season. The C’s have been devastated by injuries this year, but have managed to perceiver. Expect Glen Davis to slide into the starting lineup whilst KG is out, Davis excelled in this role last season. The Celtics are short on big men at the moment and will need both the O’Neals to step up and fill the void.
