Earlier this week the San Antonio Spurs released veteran swingman Michael Finley. It is now three days later and he is now about to join the team that many compare with the Spurs, the Boston Celtics. Yesterday on WEEI Celtics GM Danny Ainge mentioned that he was interested in pursuing Finley. Today he pursued him and now, according to multiple sources, Finley is headed to Boston. The guys a stud. He can flat out play basketball. For the whole season he has been held back both in New York, and now in his sort time in Boston, Doc has been holding him. CELTICS 105   PISTONS 100 It surely wasn’t the most exciting game to watch, but in the end the C’s came out on top. The crowd at the Palace was very quiet, the game was very slow paced, players on opposing teams weren’t getting into it- there really wasn’t much to get up for. I guess another reason for the boring nature of the game was the amount of free throws taken. By games end, 61 free throws had been taken combined.
