Paul Pierce was noticeably inaccurate, hobbled, and turnover happy in the game against New Orleans on Wednesday. He as well as Kevin Garnett have had rough games during their attempt to come back from nagging injuries thus far in the season. Via the Boston Herald:
“Eight turnovers is too much. He’s not healthy yet. We know that, and that’s why he can’t do too much”
From The Truth:
“I plan on playing in the All-Star Game,” he said earlier in the day. “I don’t see a lot of wear and tear in participating in the weekend activities. I’ll probably play about 10 or 12 minutes in the game. I don’t see the 3-point contest as something that’s really going to hinder me.”
This is a period of 5 days off that seems to be a good time for Pierce to get all the rest he can to get back healthy. I know what I think about this decision– What is your opinion?
