Celtics Late Night Show Postponed Until Tomorrow Night

AUTHOR: | IN: Celtics | COMMENTS: None Yet

I want to start off by saying we extend our deepest apologies to those that tuned into the Celtics Late Night Show tonight. I guess tonight was just not the night for Celtics podcasts, both the Celtics Late Night Show and Celtics Stuff Live were forced to postpone until later dates. Unfortunately tonight was a disappointing experience as we once again struggled with the technical difficulties that Blog Talk Radio put upon us. We tried as hard as we could to resolve the problem and give everyone a good show but things just weren’t meant to be. Because we have a [...]

Alright.. There’s One Step in The Right Direction

AUTHOR: | IN: Celtics, Game Recaps | COMMENTS: None Yet

BLAZERS 95 CELTICS 98 F/OT I’ll tell ya there is nothing more energizing than a huge Celtics victory. Especially after losing every game for what has seemed like the past month. I can tell you right now that I would probably not have written a post tonight recapping this game after doing a post game pod cast, if the Celtics lost. Well, that wasn’t the case, so here I am writing you a recap, and I might as well put up a Daily Poll after it, huh? Anyway, Kevin Garnett got his first start after missing 10 games. INSTANT, and [...]

Ray Allen Breakdown With Shot Chart

AUTHOR: | IN: Shot Charts | COMMENTS: 2 Comments

3-10 FG’s   /   0-4 3′s   /   2-2 FT’s   /   8 Points I’m not sure if this was a good idea, or a bad idea to do a shot chart on Ray Allen. Before the game I thought it would be a good idea because of his matchup with rival Richard Hamilton, so I wanted to mark out how he did against the defense of Rip. Then as the game got started I wondered why I didn’t do Sheed as it was his return to Detroit. Also as the game dragged on it didnt appear Ray was ever going to [...]

Kevin Garnett Gets His Ticket To Dallas For All Star Game

AUTHOR: | IN: Celtics | COMMENTS: None Yet

The fans have spoken and although there may be a lot of complaints Kevin Garnett has been named an all-star starter. Being a Celtics fan I can’t really complain but there is definitely a major flaw in this system. Taking the floor with Garnett will be Lebron James, Dwight Howard, Allen Iverson, and Dwyane Wade. The West will send out a lineup of Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Amare Stoudemire, Tim Duncan, and Carmelo Anthony. Via Gary Washburn (Boston Globe): Despite missing the past 10 games heading into Friday’s game with the Portland Trail Blazers, Kevin Garnett has been named a starter [...]

Glen Davis Throwing Away 25K For His Comment To Fan

AUTHOR: | IN: Celtics | COMMENTS: None Yet

In last night’s embarrassing loss to the Detroit Pistons, Celtics forward Glen Davis made a very obscene comment towards a Detroit fan. According to sources the fan was heckling Glen for a large part of the first half, even after being asked to stop. Instead of being a mature individual Davis responded with his own remark of “Suck My D**k”. Unfortunately for Davis he made the mistake of saying this right in front of the microphone at the scorers table at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The remark was heard by many fans watching the game on television and the NBA [...]

J.R Giddens: From NBA Starter To The Maine Red Claws

AUTHOR: | IN: Celtics | COMMENTS: None Yet

If you remember correctly it was less than three weeks ago when J.R Giddens was shaking like a twig in anticipation of his first career NBA start. Giddens mentioned that he thought this was his chance to shine on the big stage and he put a load of importance on his performance in the game against Toronto on the 2nd of January. You could tell in the game that he was very nervous and trigger shy, which has to be expected for a young guy like him. Since then Giddens has rarely seen playing time outside of a blowout win in [...]
