For the first time this year Lebron James and the Cavaliers take home the #1 spot in our power rankings. Travis and I debated back and forth for almost an hour and finally came up with this weeks rankings. There are a few teams we had to leave out this week that could have also been very deserving of a top ten spot. To see what teams made the top ten this week click here. But for now here is a little preview of this weeks rankings:
- The Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks sit at #3 and #4, tonight the two will battle it out again for bragging rights.
- After losing four in a row the Orlando Magic drop to #7 in this week’s rankings.
- Chris Paul has quietly led the Hornets to six straight wins and into our top ten for the first time this year.
- Kevin Durant is becoming a top five player in the league and keeps his Thunder in the top ten for the second straight weeks.
- Teams that came close, but missed out this week include Phoenix, Toronto, and Memphis.
