As a native of the great state of Maine I was excited to hear about a NBA developmental league team hitting the Portland area. Before we had the Portland Seadogs (Boston Red Sox minor league double AA team) and Portland Pirates (Buffalo Sabres minor league hockey team) but basketball is my sport and I wanted a team close to home. Coming down the stretch of last nights game, Eddie House was playing the point instead of Rajon Rondo. It wasn’t until 1:41 left in the fourth that Rondo reentered the game with the score Orlando 80 Boston 78. Rondo finished the game with only 29 minutes played, nearly 3 and a half minutes below his average, in the biggest game so far this year. Tonight was the night I was hoping to flush my mind of all the bad thoughts I’ve had about the Celtics this past week.
