In 07-08 the Celtics had lost 3-4 and 5-10 in the same stretch of games in January which is far from the end of the season.
As for the Clippers, they are not a championship contender. The Celtics are. The Clippers are 5-9 and upsets happen. I think setting my arguement parallel to the Clippers beating the Nuggets is mixing two ideas that are irrelevant. We are talking about 1 game vs. an entire season. During the 07-08 season the Bobcats beat the Celtics- that stuff happens in the NBA and it means nothing.
I do agree we need a sharp turn around sooner than later there is no question about that. However, I have the faith in the team that they will, and history proves they will. To say the team looks old is a poor excuse.It is poor execution (Not age) that is what is killing the Celtics now.

There is a big difference between championship season slump and now.
Back then it was by the end of the season, and we had 10 games cushion on everybody else…
HUGE DIFFERENCE…
Now we look tired and old after only 10 games.
Looking back at the games we won, thinking its all good we can be that good is just pathetic.
Its like looking at Clippers, after they beat
Nuggets last night saying : “If they can be that good, they can win it all”
I don’t think so…
What we need is a sharp turn, sooner than later
