If you’ve read this space at all during its brief time here in the blogosphere, you know I did not like this.  You know I did not like this one bit.  But now that I know Stephon Marbury is expected to join the Celtics during a closed practice at 5 p.m. today, I have to accept it.  Like Fagan, I have to consider Starbury at home.  I have to consider himself one of the family.  I only hope the Celtics mystique can tame him. I don’t like this one.  I don’t like this one, one bit.  It seems backup Celtics guard Gabe Pruitt was arrested early this morning in the Los Angeles area on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.  That’s bad enough.  Being smeared all over TMZ is worse.  According to TMZ, Pruitt was pulled over around 3:15 AM in the Hollywood area. Sources say he failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol level well over the legal limit. He was taken to a local jail and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence. His bail was $5,000.  [...]

Oh boy!  I didn’t see this one coming.  Not by a long shot.  How could I?  These are the Clippers we’re talking about.  Peter Vecsey’s Paper Clips.  They stink.  They stunk more than three quarters into this game.  Then it happened.  Then the wheels came off the Celtics wagon.  Then the Clippers got to braggin’.  Zach Randolph started waving the battle flaggin’.  Who woulda thunk? Coming into last night, the Clippers were the only team in the NBA that hadn’t won a game this season in which it trailed by more than eight points during the second half.  The only team.  [...]
